Tuition:
Discounts are given to students/sibling taking 2 or more classes. View
rates on Tuition fees page. The same amount of tuition will be due
weather there are 3, 4, or 5 classes in a month. Tuition is based on
an annual fee broken into monthly payments.
Dancers will receive a
minimum of 33 lessons and a maximum of 35 lessons for each class they
take per year. All holidays and days off are not included in the
lesson fee.
If classes are
cancelled due to poor weather conditions a make up class will be
scheduled or you will be allowed to make up the class with another
class of your choice see front desk for recommendations.
Tuition is based on a ten month period (Sept-June). All
holidays have been taken into consideration. No refunds or adjustments
will be made for school closings, sickness, or excused absences.
Registration:
$25 registration fee is due at time of registration. ($50 for families
of two or more dancers).
Late Fee:
A $25 late fee will automatically be added to all payments that are
not made by the due date. No exceptions. Bills are only generated if
payments are past due or as a reminder for additional payments that
will be due on your account. There will be a $35.00 fee for all
returned checks or declined credit cards.
Refund Policy:
All Registration Fees, Tuition, Costume Deposits,
Balances etc…are non Refundable. Unused Merchandise can only be
returned with a receipt in exchange for studio credit ONLY.
Class
Adjustments:
Classes with 5 or less students are subject to
cancellation or shortening of the class to 45 mins.
Recital:
We offer an
annual recital which will be held in June. Our recital is not
mandatory however it is strongly encouraged. Participating students
must purchase the mandatory costume for each class. All students must
remain backstage for the entire show. For the safety of your child, no
students are allowed to leave during the show or intermission. Parents
are only allowed to go backstage and pick up their child once the show
has finished. Please pick up a recital info sheet for additional
details (available in April)
Costumes:
A costume payment for each class costume is due in November. As a
reminder, a notice will be mailed to your home with additional
information. Costume price is $75 each for recreational dancers. Some
costumes may require slight alterations. Elite Dance Centre is not
responsible for alterations.
Dress
Rehearsal:
A Mandatory Dress Rehearsal for the Recital will be held in early
June. This gives your child the opportunity to practice their dance
onstage in costume before the Recital. As a reminder, a notice will be
mailed with additional class information in May.
Picture Day:
A professional photographer will be available to take an individual
and class picture(s) of your child in each of their costume(s).
Specific class information will be mailed out. Individual pictures are
not mandatory.
Attendance:
Punctual, consistent attendance & proper dance attire is
expected of all students. NO REFUNDS or credits will be given for
missed classes or school closings. Please notify the studio if your
child will be late or absent.
Make-up
Classes:
Due to absence,
illness, or Religious Holiday should be taken within two months of the
missed class(s). Please check with the front desk for recommended
classes.
Studio
Closings 2009-2010:
Elite Dance Centre follows the Northport/East Northport
Free School district calendar. Please check under
studio
closings for a list days that the studio will be closed.
Awards:
All students who participate in the Recital will receive a trophy. All
students with 100 % attendance in at least one class will receive a
perfect attendance award, (make-up classes do not apply). Check
postings in the studio for Trophy and Perfect attendance updates.
Attire:
Dance shoes and all of your dance wear needs may be purchased at the
studio.
DO NOT wear your dance
shoes or sneakers outside. Dance shoes/sneakers should be put on
AFTER arriving at the studio, not at home or outside. Label your
clothes and shoes.
No gum, jewelry or jeans. Hair is worn up and away from face.
Required Attire
Combo Classes: Any color leotard, Tan tights...White ballet shoes
no laces & tan tap shoes no laces.
Ballet Classes: Black Elite leotard, pink tights...-pink canvas
split sole ballet shoes...hair must be worn in BUN!
Tap Classes: White Elite T- Shirt, Black bottoms (Shorts/ Pants) &
black split sole tap shoes...hair pulled.
Jazz: White Elite T-Shirt, Black bottoms (Shorts/ Pants) & Black
jazz gore shoes hair pulled back.
Hip Hop: White Elite T-Shirt, Black bottoms (Shorts/ Pants) & Black
jazz sneaker hair pulled back.
Musical Theater: White Elite T-Shirt, Black bottoms (Shorts/ Pants)
& Black jazz sneakers hair pulled back.
Kickline: White Elite T-Shirt, Black bottoms & Black jazz shoes/
sneakers.
Acrobatics: Black Elite leotard..- no shoes, bare feet only... hair
pulled back.
Breakdance: White Elite T-Shirt, loose fitting pants, -clean,
running sneakers NOT to be worn outdoors
until after recital!!! |
