Malorie
Cox
|
Malorie Cox, owner of Elite
Dance Centre in East Northport for the past eight years, began her career
in dance at the young age of 2 ½ when she took her first dance lessons at
Viki‘s School of Dance in Boston, Massachusetts. She knew at a very young
age that dance would become not only a passion for her, but also a career.
Her early training included four years at Cambridge Rindge and Latin
School Dance and Performing Arts Department. She was a member of St.
John’s Productions Color Guard Team in Dayton, Ohio and toured with
Jam’nastics, Inc. under Ramon Baynes. She also trained for many years at
Broadway Dance Center with Michelle Barber, Derek Mitchell, Slam and Luam.
She is a 2003 graduate of Hofstra University, where she received a
Bachelor of Arts Degree in Dance. She has danced in many professional
arenas and has worked with stars such as Foxie Brown, Hillary Duff and
Beanie Siegel, to name a few. She was also a featured dancer in music
videos for Will Smith (Freakin It) and Missy Elliot (Get Ur Freak On). Her
choreography skills have twice won her choreographer of the year by Access
Broadway. Elite Dance Centre, under the leadership of Malorie Cox, won the
2005 DAP National Championship. Malorie looks forward to leading her
students in many more exciting performances and competitions.

Genevieve Bohn |
Genevieve Bohn started professional
training at Boston Conservatory of Music, Dance & Drama; American Ballet
Theater School, NYC; Rolan Dupree Studio, California where she studied
jazz and tap dancing. At the Mudra School in Belguim, she danced
professionally with the Pittsburg Ballet Theater. She performed with the
Maurice Bepart’s Company, Europe’s Marseilles Opera Ballet, France toured
the NBC’s production of Disney on Parade in South Africa, David Sanoff’s
Production of the world of Hanna Barbera in Mexico. Her US teaching
credits include; Boston University dance department; Old Dominion
University dance department, Duncan Conservatory, Prague, Czech Republic,
Gyori Ballet school, Hungary The Beekman Hill International school NYC,
The New Dance Group Arts center NYC. The 92nd street Y School
of the Arts Dance Educators of America. Genevieve has had over 28 years of
experience teaching children and adults classical ballet.

Kristin Borelli
|
Kristin Borelli has been
studying dance since the age of three. Throughout her years in dance
school she competed and performed solos. She attended Holy Trinity High
School where she studied Dance and Theater and performed in many Dance
Concerts. Kristin went on to study dance in college and still today will
travel to Manhattan to take classes at the Broadway Dance Center. Kristin
loves to teach dance and loves all of her students.

Ashley Bosnack |
Ashley Bosnack
attended Long Island Academy of Dance Arts from 1989 to 2001. As part of
the Dance Company, Ashley competed in several Regional and National dance
competitions. She is trained and experienced in ballet, tap, hip hop,
jazz, musical theatre, lyrical, and pointe. Ashley danced through school
attending Curry College in Massachusetts and Marymount Manhattan College
in New York. Always performing choreography and dance throughout the day,
Ashley has held the art of dance close to her heart since she's been a
little girl. She finds joy and fulfillment in passing on her talent to
aspiring dancers.

Colleen Campbell |
Colleen Campbell is not only
well versed in the art of dance but also in the other performing arts as
well. In her teens she was a member of Northport High School’s Tigerette
Danceline and their Powdered Wigs Performing Arts Theater. She also
performed with the Northport Theaterworks Troupe I/II for two years. In
the recent past she worked at the North Shore Dance Theater in Huntington
Station as a Dance and Theater Performing Artist. Colleen is also a
college graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology.

Amanda DelVecchio
|
Amanda DelVecchio started
dancing in 1993 at the young age of 4. She started with ballet/tap combo
classes and over the years she picked up with more classes. By 1997 Amanda
started on the competition team at her studio. Yearly, she did four
competitions, two recitals and a nationals event. Amanda started slowly in
competition doing jazz, tap and many different productions. Her team,
including herself, won numerous awards including overall top score,
platinum’s and gold’s. As a team they placed several times anywhere from
first to third place overall. By 2000, Amanda was ready to move on in her
dance career. She added lyrical, hip hop and extensive ballet training,
along with pointe, small group numbers, trios, duets and solos. In fact,
Amanda’s first solo was in 2001, at the young age of twelve. Not only was
it her first solo, but it was also choreographed by Amanda. She scored
very well including gold and high gold awards. At her first competition
she got invited to Kids Artistic Review Nationals with a spot in the
opening number as well. Amanda traveled with her team to Atlantic City,
Boston and Las Vegas doing solos, duos and trios. Around 2005 Amanda
started taking classes periodically at Broadway Dance Center in Manhattan.
She has taken classes with Germaine Salsberg, Dawn Hillen, Barbara Duffy,
and Shea Sullivan. In 2005 she also started as an assistant dance teacher
for combo classes and lyrical classes and enjoyed every minute of it. As
an assistant teacher she also helped teach and choreograph for competition
classes, jazz classes, and ballet classes. Amanda is proud to say that she
continues to take classes, when time allows, at BDC in the City, and is
now a proud teacher at Elite Dance Centre."

Megan Doyle |
Megan Doyle has had the
privilege of performing with jkingdanceco. in “Mindfield” and “Hear Me
Talk”. She has also worked extensively for Disney appearing in the “How to
Dance with Hannah with Montana“ video as well as industrials and
voiceovers for Lizzy McGuire Merchandising. She has had the opportunity to
perform with many different dance companies, most notably at Lincoln
Center with Mad Cap Dance Company. Megan is proud to have spent five years
on tour as Anne in the Diary of Anne Frank. Other touring and regional
credits include: Class Dismissed: The Bullying Project, What’s Up Mount
Olympus, The Sound of Music, Sugar Babies, Into the Woods, West Side Story
and the world premier of Markings. In addition to performing Megan also
has a great passion for teaching. She is currently attending NYU to
complete her masters in Dance Education.

Travis Fahey |
Travis Fahey attended Long
Island University where he majored in dance with a focus on Ballet, Tap
and Modern Dance. In his earlier studies he focused on tap, jazz,
clogging, ballet and lyrical. He has received numerous awards including
Regional and National Grand Championships with solos, duos and groups as
well as receiving a National highest score award through PDTA (449.8 out
of 450)! He also received scholarships to STEPS in NYC. He has been
teaching since 2002 where he has taught and choreographed for intermediate
through advanced levels in tap and clogging. Travis has won three “Most
Entertaining” Awards and two choreography awards.

Jay Faustino |
Jay Faustino has been teaching at Elite Dance Centre for
the last eight years.
He goes by the name of Soul Science B-boy Cinematic. He has competed in
the “King of New York”, “Spring Breakin’” and “Out for Fame” battles.
Jay graduated with his Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work and is currently
the co-owner of the sneaker and street wear boutique, Extra Butter. Jason
states that he loves his students and looks forward to them expressing
themselves and learning how to rock the beat!

Erica Flores |
Erica Flores has trained in
all aspects of dance with a focus on lyrical, jazz and contemporary dance.
She has been teaching since 2004 and worked with all levels of dancers
from beginner through advanced dance company students. Erica also danced
competitively with David Sanders Dance Dynamics where they won National
Championship. She has also participated in many exciting performances such
as Bette Midler’s Hullaween at the Marriott Marquis and the Tanzommer
Dance Festival in Innsbruk, Austria.

Clinton Edward Martin |
Clinton Edward Martin is a
native of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He began his dance training when he was
seven years old, dancing at various studios in the Oklahoma City area. He
received instruction in jazz, ballet, tap, contemporary, and hip hop,
including instruction from Emily Carter Shock as a Senior Company member
at Applause Studios. He has won multiple scholarships through different
conventions and received irreplaceable performance experience through
competitive dancing for over ten years. Clinton was an original member of
Dare to Be Soul Dance Company under the artistic direction of Destini
Rogers (a top 8 finalist on the first season of So You Think You Can
Dance). He has also worked for Silver Tree Productions in several of their
“Shows in a Box” and in award winning “David Thomas Presents The World of
Magic”. He was also given the opportunity to perform as an extra in Kelly
Rowland’s latest music video, “Daylight” and is an original member of
FEAR.less Dance Company under the artistic direction of Justin Conte. His
teaching experience ranges from teaching 3rd and 4th
graders creative movement in New York City Public Schools to
choreographing and teaching hip hop classes at California State University
in L.A. He was also privileged enough to both teach and choreograph for
his own high school musical theater program in Oklahoma as their first
student choreographer. He is currently continuing his dance education at
Marymount Manhattan College in New York City.

Patty Pansini
|
This is Patty Pansini’s fifth
year at Elite Dance Centre. She graduated from Adelphi University with a
Bachelor’s Degree in Dance/Fine Arts and a Master’s Degree in Elementary
Education. Patty has been dancing for 15 years and has been teaching for
11 years. She was also a Magician’s Assistant and performed with a few
famous magicians in Manhattan. Patty is currently an elementary school
teacher in South Huntington UFSD. She is looking forward to another great
year working with Malorie and everyone at Elite Dance Centre. Patty would
also like to thank her family for their continuous love and support.
